Anejos

 

Corazon anejo:  silky smooth and earthy. Minimal agave presence-      excellent sipper.

Don Eduardo anejo:  mellow with light agave—hint of vanilla develops late, med body.

 

Hacienda de Chihuajua:  agave throughout the palate—

 

Milagro anejo:  silky smooth with almost no discernable agave.  heavy earthy flavor.

 

Chinaco anejo:  dark yellow in color with intense earthy flavors and it finishes with hints

             of butterscotch. 

 

Conquistador anejo:  weak and pleasant beginning with a peppery finish.

 

Herradura anejo:  rave reviews for its balance and subletly Danielson.

 

Don Julio anejo:  a heavy oak and pepper flavor with a warming start of caramel and oak

     in the long and warming finish.

 
Don Julio 1942:  spicy medium body palate, buttered caramel apples and baked pineapple

             flavors—crushed flower petal finish—a great sipper.

 

El Jimador anejo:  big flavorful tequila with waves of peppery heat.

 

El Tesoro anejo:  very sweet and nutty- well masked agave till the long finish—

             unique texture in the mouth.

 

Espolon anejo: the heavy oak and caramel flavors lead to a smooth finish.

 

Casta weber azul:  an excellent anejo—the oak and caramel flavors shine through without

             killing the agave flavor. A smooth and easy finish makes for superior sipping tequila.

 

Tres Rios anejo:  silky smooth with heavy oak and caramel flavors. Slight pepper finish.

 

 Tres Generaciones anejo:  a three year aging process provides a heavy oak flavor—very smooth.

 

Herencia de plata anejo:  vibrant with baking spice aromas

 

Oro Azul anejo:  roasted tropical fruit flavors & white pepper. 

 

Cesar montery anejo:  smooth and oaky without much agave presence.

 

 

 El mayor anejo:  medium body and well balanced—earthy undertones

 

1921:  Heavy taste of the oak cask followed by a vanilla finish with nice agave subtleties

 

Hussongs anejo: like the reposado—fairly sharp.  The nutty flavor also has other spices.

 

Cabo wabo anejo:  the five year aging process takes the edge off- yet still a little spicy.

             powefull dill and oak and a slight hint of vanilla to finish.

 

Patron anejo:  peppery and floral aroma with agave and toasted oak highlights—    warming.

 

Dos Lunas: aged for 18 months. Silky smooth with orange and caramel flavors.

 

1800 anejo: a nutty and somewhat spicy beginning finishes with a sweet but faint agave

             Flavor.

 
Corallejo anejo:  very nicely done—nicely balanced.

 

Milagro reserve anejo:  Lighter and more delicate than some—complex though with agave

             and oak intertwined to create an excellent sipper.

 
Milagro Romance:  a uniquely inspired tequila—the three inner chambers of the bottle

            Represent the three years that the anejo contained therein is aged.  The exterior chamber

            Contains a 10 month old reposado from which the anejo is a continuation of---
